Taking a bite out of the Big Apple...

Good times! Good times! Brittney and I just had an awesome dinner at Public in the Nolita district. My fenugreekpanna cotta was fantastic and the 1998 Glaetzer Bishop Shiraz was divine. We walked through the heart of China Town (or at least a very authentically Chinese neighborhood). On the way back we walked through SoHo, the Village, and Union Square before taking a cab back to the hotel We had a drink in the hotel bar and called it a night. Tomorrow is lunch at Les Halles and the black tie shindig!

Cheers,
Jason

Oops! I forgot a space. It's fenugreek panna cotta. Panna cotta is essentially an eggless custard made with heavy cream and gelatin. It's tradtionally made with vanilla. Fenugreek is an herb/seed/legume that has mapley, cuminy, bitter character.
