The nominees for the 2005 Oscars have been announced. I'm going to BOLD the ones that I think will win and will italicize the ones that I think should win. (I haven't seen all of them, but I'll take a few stabs in the dark.)

I think the choices you made for the first two as should win are very interesting considering that I read that Phoenix and Dillon's performances were both good, but serviceable as opposed to noteworthy like the others. And that instead of William Hurt from A History of Violence that Ed Harris should have gotten the nomination.

I've only watched two of the Best Movie choices so far, but a friend of mine said Crash should get it.
